Today’s Journal will not be shared, so please be honest with yourself.
In Nic Stone’s essay she states, “They changed the way I approach people with beliefs that differ from my own. They changed the way I voice my opinions. In a way, they cleaned the lens through which I view the world.” Be sure to think about each question carefully and answer EACH question.
How do your beliefs (societal, religious, racial, etc.) differ from the people around you? How do you go about voice your opinions when your beliefs differ from others? How would you describe the lens through which you view the world? How could you be a better human being?
4. Discuss the daily discussions for DJ using your TQEs (See the class recording for today)--discussions will begin Thursday. Participants are chosen at random.
5. Begin reading DJ.
