-Fold a piece of paper into three columns, hotdog style. Then unfold it and fold it in half hamburger style.
-Label each section Speaker/Ethos, Audience/Pathos, Message/Logos, context, and purpose.
-As we watch the speech, write down the elements we have just discussed: who is the speaker and what makes the speaker credible, who is the audience and how they are appealed to, and what the message/goal is.
